Bank of New York Mellon has appointed president Gerald Hassell as chairman and CEO, Financial News reports. He will be replacing Robert Kelly, who has quit.
Hassel has been a board member since 1998. Kelly was BNY Mellon’s chairman and CEO since July 2007.
