One-quarter of hedge funds have begun clearing over-the-counter derivatives ahead of regulations requiring them to do so, according UBS analysts, reports Bloomberg.

One-quarter of hedge funds have begun clearing over-the-counter derivatives ahead of regulations requiring them to do so, according UBS analysts. Alex Kramm, a UBS analyst, stated in an investor note that the results of its survey indicated “an increasing level of urgency on the buy side” regarding clearing. A October survey found no hedge funds clearing at the time.
