Blackstone is set to buy a German outdoor clothing and equipment maker for €700 million, The Wall Street Journal reports. Jack Wolfskin is being sold by Barclays Private Equity and Quadriga Capital.
Initially, the sellers were anticipating a price of about €800 million. The private equity owners had failed to sell the company earlier this year as they were unable to attract a sufficiently high offer, adds Reuters.
