French electric components maker, Schneider Electric, will acquire Summit Energy Services.

French electric components maker, Schneider Electric, will acquire Summit Energy Services. The power management systems group will pay $268 million for the U.S.-based company. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions. Kentucky-based Summit Energy Services is an outsourced energy procurement and sustainability services provider.
