LACERS Renews Northern Trust Mandate

The Los Angeles City Employees’ Retirement System has reappointed Northern Trust.

The Los Angeles City Employees’ Retirement System (LACERS) has reappointed Northern Trust, Pensions & Investments reports. The firm offers master custody, securities lending, compliance and event analysis to the system.

The $10.6 billion retirement system has extended the contract for three years. The agreement was due to expire on July 31, 2011. An RFP was not issued for the mandate.
