Global investment management firm Pacific Investment Management Co. (Pimco) has hired three professionals to bolster its portfolio management analytics team in its New York and London offices. Vasant Naik, executive vice president and global head of empirical research and Riccardo Rebonato, executive vice president and head of rates and foreign-exchange analytics, will be based in London. Stefano Risa, who has been appointed executive vice president and head of mortgage and asset-backed analytics, will work out of the company’s New York office.
Naik and Risa have already joined while Rebonato is scheduled to take charge of his duties at Pimco on December 1. Most recently, Naik worked with Nomura Holdings’ unit Nomura International as managing director and head of quantitative strategies group, fixed income research. The trio will be working under Ravi Mattu, managing director and head of analytics.
