INTECH Investment Management has appointed Danny Meidan as vice president and senior investment officer. In his new role, Meidan will manage the Florida research team and also work with clients and consultants to further their understanding of the firm’s investment philosophy, process and products.
He has succeeded Jason Greene, who stepped down from his role in July 2009 to return to Southern Illinois University. Meidan joins from Menta Capital (San Francisco). He has also worked at Barclays Global Investors, where he was a principal, portfolio manager/researcher.
