SYZ To Offer Managed A/Cs On UBS Platform

Swiss banking group SYZ & Co.’s institutional asset management unit SYZ Asset Management will provide managed accounts, or segregated funds, on Swiss bank UBS’ platform that the former helped develop.

Swiss banking group SYZ & Co.’s institutional asset management unit SYZ Asset Management will provide managed accounts, or segregated funds, on Swiss bank UBS’ platform that the former helped develop, FINalternatives reports. UBS Investment Bank will run the platform, while SYZ will perform multiple roles.

SYZ will, among other activities, suggest and select managers to be included on the platform and manage alternative investment mandates and other vehicles whose assets would be placed on the platform. The Geneva-based firm will also introduce new investment solutions utilizing the platform’s managers. SYZ & Co. oversees assets worth €19.5 billion and has a 430-strong workforce.
