Pearson To Acquire EDI For £113M

The publisher of the Financial Times, Pearson, will acquire Education Development International for about £112.7 million.

The publisher of the Financial Times, Pearson, will acquire Education Development International (EDI) for about £112.7 million, Financial Times reports. Pearson will pay 200 pence in cash for each EDI share. The publisher has gained support from more than 30% of EDI’s shareholders for the deal. EDI offers training courses and apprenticeships in a range of sectors, including finance, business and hospitality.
