Regulator Securities and Futures Commission has granted Scoach a license for linking market participants in Hong Kong directly to the Xetra trading system. Banks and brokers will be able to use the Xetra network to position structured product orders for trading on Scoach, the largest European exchange for structured products.
Customers of the connected banks and brokers in Hong Kong will get access to managed stock exchange trading in Germany. The issuers active on Scoach and in Hong Kong can provide investors an extensive product range of callable bull and bear contracts and warrants in Hong Kong dollars and other currencies.
