Flintshire County Council’s Clwyd Pension Fund, Mold, Wales, has appointed four managers to run about £300 million in equity and tactical asset allocation strategies, Pensions & Investments reports. State Street Global Advisors will run £190 million in passive global developed markets equities, while Duet Group will run about £50 million in a new active unconstrained global equities strategy.
The £1 billion pension fund has also appointed BlueCrest Capital Management and Pyrford International to manage £30 million each in tactical asset allocation strategies. The pension fund was advised by consultants, JLT Benefit Solutions and bfinance.
