Baird Capital Sells METI For $130M

CAE Healthcare has acquired medical simulation technologies and educational software Medical Education Technologies for $130 million.

CAE Healthcare has acquired medical simulation technologies and educational software Medical Education Technologies (METI) for $130 million. Baird Capital Partners, the U.S. buyout fund of Baird Private Equity, sold METI adds Private Equity Hub. CAE sold $150 million of senior notes in a private placement to fund the acquisition and to replace other existing obligations at lower interest costs. Baird Capital initially acquired METI in October 2008.
