Skandia Investment Group (SIG) has awarded a £28 million mandate in the £177.1 million U.K. Best Ideas fund to Liontrust, Financial Times reports. Liontrust’s James Inglis-Jones and Gary West will replace Artemis’ Jacob de Tusch Lec.
The Best Ideas fund is run by portfolio managers Lee Freeman-Shor, Ryan Hughes and Francois Zagame. The other mandate managers in the fund include F&C Investments’ Peter Lees, Schroders’ Richard Buxton and BlackRock’s Richard Plackett. The Liontrust duo also handles a mandate in the SIG £433.3 million European Best Ideas fund.
