Fidelity Investments has launched the Fidelity Conservative Income Bond Fund. The fund will primarily invests in a combination of money market and high quality, investment-grade debt securities with short durations. The new portfolio will be managed by James Miller, who joined Fidelity in 1991 as a municipal bond credit analyst. The Fidelity Conservative Income Bond Fund, which offers a retail class and an institutional class, will maintain a dollar-weighted average maturity of 0.75 years or less.
