Newedge has added Eisso VanderMeulen to its prime brokerage origination and structuring team, HedgeWeek reports. Based in New York, VanderMeulen will work under Jonathan Gane, head of origination and structuring, Americas, along with Andy Waterworth, head of fixed-income and currency strategies in London.
VanderMeulen will be responsible for developing the FX prime brokerage component as part of the firm’s overall multi-asset class, multi-instrument prime brokerage offering. Before this, VanderMeulen worked at futures brokerage firm R.J. O’Brien where he built the FX clearing and execution platform.
