Deutsche Bank is planning to restructure its board by considering appointing the outgoing head of the German central bank, Axel Weber, Financial Times reports. Weber may be appointed in a senior position at Deutsche when CEO, Josef Ackermann, exits after his tenure expires in May 2013. Weber may also be hired as the deputy chairman of the bank’s supervisory board, replacing Clemens Börsig. The other probable suitors to replace Ackermann include the head of Deutsche’s corporate and investment bank, Anshu Jain.
