The Ohio Police & Fire Pension Fund has invested $35 million in real estate fund Greystar Equity Partners VII, Pensions & Investments reports. The commitment by the Columbus-based fund will support its effort to reach a 12% real estate target, which is 6.1% currently.
Separately, the $12 billion fund has shortlisted firms for two to three international small-cap equity mandates. The seven finalist are Batterymarch Financial Management, Dimensional Fund Advisors, Epoch Investment Partners, Franklin Templeton, Pyramis Global Advisors, Schroder Investment Management and Wells Capital Management.
