K2 Advisors is considering selling a majority stake or the complete business, The Wall Street Journal reports. The investment firm is in talks with prospective buyers, including Carlyle Group.
K2 Advisors manages about $10 billion in hedge fund investments. The Stamford-based funds of hedge funds has offices in London, Sydney, Tokyo and the U.S.
