Highbridge Capital has appointed Serge Adam as head of its principal strategies division, Financial Times reports. The $27 billion hedge fund owned by investment bank JPMorgan is preparing to start a new standalone credit opportunities fund.
In his new role, Adams will co-head Highbridge’s principal strategies division with Scott Kapnick, the former co-head of investment banking at Goldman Sachs. Previously, Adam was head of Sandell Asset Management’s credit fund.
