Carlyle Group has formed a joint venture with the biggest Peruvian financial group, Credicorp. As a part of the joint venture, Carlyle is seeking to establish an office in Lima staffed with four investment professionals from both Carlyle and Credicorp.
Both the companies will make growth capital and buyout investments in companies in a variety of sectors, comprising consumer/retail, healthcare, education and logistics. The new partnership will primarily invest in Peruvian companies.
