The Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS) has appointed Tim Coffin as its environmental manager, Professional Pensions reports. In his new role, Coffin will be responsible for managing the carbon reduction commitment, the reduction of waste, water and energy consumed across the portfolio.
Previously, Coffin held senior roles at two global multi-disciplinary environmental consultancies, WSP Environmental and SKM Enviros. He has also served at the property and construction firm, Watts Group.
