Northumberland County Council Pension Fund, Morpeth, England, is seeking to appoint an infrastructure manager to run about $38 million, Pensions & Investments reports. The system has named First State Investments, Meridiam Infrastructure and Global Infrastructure Partners as finalists.

If two managers are appointed, they are expected to split the mandate. Mercer, the fund’s investment consultant, is assisting in the shortlist search. Funding for the mandate will come from cash or rebalancing.
