Finisterre Capital has hired Ursula Newman as its in-house general counsel, HedgeWeek reports. She has joined the emerging markets debt specialist from Altima Partners, where she held the same position. In her new role, Newman is responsible for building the hedge fund’s internal legal systems and for managing regulatory demands and outside legal counsel, adds FINalternatives. Prior to Altima, she has also served at HSBC and Deutsche Bank.
