Coca-Cola has issued notes worth $2 billion. The company aims to sell $1 billion of notes, maturing in 2016, and another $1 billion, due 2021.
The sale proceeds will be used to finance an exchange offer of up to $2 billion of notes issued by a subsidiary Coca-Cola Refreshments USA. BNP Paribas, Citigroup and Goldman Sachs were appointed to lead the transaction, adds The Wall Street Journal.
