Gary Lynch, vice chairman and former chief legal officer of Morgan Stanley, is resigning from his current position, The Wall Street Journal reports. He is leaving the investment bank to pursue other opportunities. Based in London, Lynch was vice chairman of Morgan Stanley since May 2009 and worked as a senior manager advising the firm on issues of policy and strategy. Prior to this, he served as the lender’s chief legal officer for over five years until February 2010.
