The world’s second largest hedge fund manager Man Group has appointed Yifei Li to chair its China operations, Financial Times reports. She will be responsible for boosting the group’s presence in mainland China. Man Group is eyeing expansion outside Europe and the Middle East, its core operational regions.
Yifei has in the past headed MTV in China and was chief representative of MTV’s parent global entertainment content company Viacom Inc. in the country.
