ELX Futures will increase quarterly months for its Eurodollar futures contracts to five years from two years. Currently, the electronic futures exchange lists 12 Eurodollar futures contracts with eight quarterly contracts and the first four serial contracts, which will be expanded to span five years with 20 quarterlies and the first four serial contracts.
There will be three, four and five year bundles provided, beginning with the nearest quarterly contract. The extension will become effective from March 14. In June 2010, ELX launched its Eurodollar futures contract.
