U.S. listed ETFs generated inflows of $13.2 billion in July.

U.S. listed ETFs generated inflows of $13.2 billion in July, Financial Times reports. Since the beginning of 2011, U.S. ETFs have attracted new inflows of $71.1 billion, which is 43.8% higher than last year’s figures during this period.

State Street Global Advisers’ cash inflows amounted to $5.8 billion in July, which included $3.3 billion into the SPDR S&P 500 ETF and $2.8 billion in the SPDR Gold Trust. Outflows for the iShares S&P midcap 400 stood at $632 million and $1.7 billion for the iShares Russell 2000.
