Lloyds Banking Group has appointed Alison Brittain as head of its Lloyds TSB and Bank of Scotland branch network, Financial Times reports. From September 2011, she will be reporting to the head of Britain’s state-backed lender, António Horta-Osório. In her new role, Brittain will work alongside David Nicholson, who is responsible for the group’s Halifax brand. Brittain will be joining the bank from Santander U.K., where she is executive director for retail distribution and intermediaries.
