Venture-capital firm, Andreessen Horowitz, has appointed Peter Levine as a venture partner, The Wall Street Journal reports. In the newly created position, Levine will help Andreessen Horowitz source and evaluate new deals in the enterprise-technology sector. Most recently, Levine was an executive at XenSource that was acquired by virtual-computing company Citrix, in 2007, adds San Francisco Chronicle. He has also worked at storage and security provider Veritas, which was bought by Symantec in 2005.
