The $10.2 billion Maine Public Employees Retirement System (MainePERS), Augusta, has engaged institutional investment advisor Strategic Investment Solutions (SIS) as general consultant in place of Hewitt EnnisKnupp, Pensions & Investments reports. This replacement by the Maine, U.S. retirement system is a consequence of a periodic re-examination of its service providers.
Employee-owned SIS is an independent investment consultant serving clients with assets of more than $700 billion. Hewitt EnnisKnupp is a global investment consulting firm. The retirement system’s contributing members include teachers, state, county, and municipal employees, legislators, judges, and those who work for other public entities.
