Stephen Dolbear, former F&C high income manager, will float a low-cost actively managed multi-asset structured product, Citywire reports. The Parkstone Tracker U.K. Managed Alpha will invest in U.K. equities, gilts and commodities through exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and cash. Dolbear and Paul Wesson, head of portfolio risk and managed funds at F&C, left F&C to set up Parkstone Asset Management in 2009. The duo will use a qualitative and quantitative model to review allocations based on earnings, valuations, price to earnings ratios, volatility and inflation expectations.
