Intel Capital Invests $18M In India

Intel Capital, the venture capital unit of Intel, has invested $18 million in five Indian companies.

Intel Capital, the venture capital unit of Intel, has invested $18 million in five Indian companies, The Wall Street Journal reports. The venture capital fund will invest in PolicyBazaar.com and Sudhir Srivastava Robotics Surgery Center.

Intel Capital will also make three follow-on investments in online travel company Yatra.com, open-source provider WSO2, and mobile-media company July Systems. With these new stakes, the fund would have spent about 70% of its amount.
