The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) has appointed the Keystone Peer Review Organization (KePRO) to extend targeted consultative support for the management of Free Clinic Federal Tort Claims Act claims for the health center and programs for a year. KePRO formerly held this contract from 2004 to 2010.
KePRO will offer expert medical review to help determine the merit of medical malpractice claims and risk management for each claim. The national quality improvement and care management company will also offer claims and risk management reporting and statistical analysis, actuarial and premium reporting and general program assistance to HRSA staff and program stakeholders.
