Charterhouse Capital Partners is among the financial investors to have proposed to acquire the complete portfolio at a fund of European private equity firm Cognetas, Financial Times reports. At least one other U.K. investor may be eying the portfolio. Cognetas is also shutting its offices in London and Frankfurt and will transform itself into a largely Franco-Italian investor. Charterhouse is investing via a €4 billion buy-out fund.
