BC Partners has completed the sale of Sok, the discount unit of Turkish supermarket chain Migros Ticaret, The Wall Street Journal reports. Ulker Group paid a total of $380 million for the acquisition.
BC Partners will use the proceeds from the sale to repay debt and to invest in Migros supermarkets for future growth of the business. JP Morgan Chase and Merrill Lynch International offered separate fairness opinions to the board of Migros for the sale.
