Raptor Capital Management founder James Pallotta, a minority owner of Boston Celtics, is raising a new Boston-based venture capital fund, Business Journal reports. Raptor Ventures is the second new fund to launch inside Raptor Capital’s offices in 2011.
The venture capital firm has not yet raised any money for the new fund. Since reopening last year, the firm has rolled out a new hedge fund Raptor Evolution, which currently manages about $200 million, and a new sports consulting group RaptorAccelerator.
