French asset manager Oddo Asset Management has unveiled a new merger and acquisition (M&A) arbitrage portfolio, Citywire reports. The fund has been launched as part of the firm’s ongoing product development in the alternatives space.
The vehicle will allocate to companies that are takeover targets, taking benefit from the difference between the share price and the price offered by the buyer. The absolute performance fund will be managed by former Banque d’Orsay manager Christian Fleury.
