Goldman Sachs has appointed Ha Jiming as vice chairman and chief investment strategist of its investment management unit for China, The Wall Street Journal reports. In the new role, Jiming will cater to individual high net worth and institutional investment management clients for formulating investment strategies and understanding macro trends in the country. Most recently, Jiming served as a managing director in the bank’s China investment banking team. Jiming has also previously worked as a chief economist at China International Capital.
