Warburg Pincus is looking to set up a private equity fund, San Francisco Chronicle reports, citing Bloomberg. The U.S. private equity firm is seeking to raise $12 billion for the new fund.
The firm has invested most of the $15 billion it collected in 2008. Warburg Pincus is the parent company of Neiman Marcus and Interactive Data Corp. and is jointly managed by co-presidents Joseph Landy and Charles Kaye.
