The California Public Employees’ Retirement System (CalPERS) is seeking to review its global equity programme.

The California Public Employees’ Retirement System (CalPERS) is seeking to review its global equity programme, Pensions & Investments reports. The pension fund will assess the external managers handling $123.6 billion in global equity.

The move by the retirement system is a routine action. According to the pension fund’s spokesman Clark McKinley, there are no specific needs for additional strategies or plans to put additional capital into the asset classes.
