The £1.36 billion Worcestershire County Council Pension Fund has appointed JPMorgan Asset Management and Schroder Investment Management as portfolio managers, Pensions & Investments reports. The active emerging-markets equity portfolios have an initial value of £50 million each.
The funding came from the removal in 2010 of GLG Partners, which was overseeing an estimated £300 million in active U.K. equities. The pension fund issued the request for proposal for emerging-markets managers in December and was advised by World MarketsCo. consultant Graham Wood.
