Medley Capital has acquired credit hedge fund manager, Viathon Capital. The investment adviser, which has $1.4 billion of assets under management, has bought the firm for an undisclosed amount.
Viathon, which invests in fundamental and event driven opportunities across the credit spectrum, was founded by Robert Comizio in 2006. Comizio will become a partner and senior portfolio manager for Medley Credit Strategies.
