Enel will allocate €280 million to the electricity distribution network in Romania in 2011.

Enel will allocate €280 million to the electricity distribution network in Romania in 2011, Romania Insider reports. Enel has planned to invest about €800 million in the electricity distribution sector in Romania from 2011-2015.

The Italian energy group will construct wind farms in Romania, which will require €500 million of investments until 2015. The company has already invested over €1.8 billion in Romania since 2005.
