FactorShares is seeking to roll out a new series of factor exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in the market, Index Universe reports. The New York-based money manager has also filed with the U.S. regulators for the same. The company seeks to offer standard ETFs, long/short funds as well as 130/30 funds under the Investment Company Act of 1940. The new funds may include a combination of domestic and foreign equities, depositary receipts and fixed-income instruments.
