Dell has entered into an agreement to acquire U.S. managed security services provider, SecureWorks. The financial details of the acquisition have not been disclosed. As a part of the agreement, Dell is seeking to maintain SecureWorks’ existing operations and continue to make investments in enhanced security offerings. The deal, which is subject to customary closing conditions, is schedules to close in early 2011. SecureWorks’ Security-as-a-Service solutions include managed-security services, security and risk consulting services and threat intelligence.
