The New York State Teachers’ Retirement System, Albany, has reappointed three investment managers to manage REITs and real estate operating company securities, totaling $1.34 billion, IPE reports. Each contract, which was due to expire on June 30, was renewed for 12 months, starting July 1.
The system has renewed Cohen and Steers Capital Management contract to run a combined $699 million in two funds. RREEF America’s $345 million contract and Adalante Capital Management’s $297 million contract have also been renewed.
