Cement company Cemex has sold an additional $650 million in notes, The Wall Street Journal reports. The Mexican company reopened its secured 2018 notes with a coupon of 9%, which raised $1 billion in January 2011.
The proceeds are expected to be used by the company to repay debt. Citigroup acted as the sole bookrunning manager for the transaction, adds Reuters.
