Private equity firms are considering offers for Citigroup’s One Main Financial, The Wall Street Journal reports. Potential buyers include a large group that comprised Carlyle Group, Blackstone Group, WL Ross & Company, Thomas H Lee Partners and Brysam Global Partners.
Warburg Pincus and JC Flowers & Company are also interested in One Main Financial. The Citi unit is the consumer lending division that was separated from CitiFinancial, which also included troubled loans.
