State Street has appointed Alan Robertson as head of U.K. trustee and depositary and managing director of State Street Trustees Limited (SSTL), Fundamentals reports. In his new role, he will head the SSTL business in accordance with State Street Global Services’ U.K., Middle East and Africa (UKMEA) strategy and industry recognized best practice.
Robertson will work under Steve Smit, head of global services and global markets in the UKMEA. Prior to joining State Street, Robertson was working with Scottish Widows Investment Partnership.
